About Us

Harmony Nursery and Daylily Farm is set in rural York County.  We are 5 & 3/4 miles west of Benedict Nebraska.  We are starting our 5th year with a BANG (of the hammer that is)!

Harmony Nursery & Daylily Farm along with Windy Hill Soybean Mulch received a Value Added Ag grant funded by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development and administered by the Nebraska Rural Development Commission.  We are putting up a sales building to replace our spacious tent!  We truly feel blessed with the opportunities the building will provide space for: a place to gather in from the elements, workshop and gift areas, restrooms, and a calmer place to check out!

An incurable love for flowers, nature and the desire to share that love with others is why Harmony Nursery and Daylily Farm was created! I have always loved the farm and the great outdoors.  I come from a long line of flower lovers; my Grandparents with their lovely roses, my Mother with a yard that belongs in a magazine, and my Great Aunt who first introduced me to Daylilies! My Great Aunt gave me starts from five Daylilies that have moved with her wherever she has lived since the 1940’s!  This Aunt later sent me an article about a Daylily Farm in Wayne, Nebraska.  Over 400 daylily cultivars later I was hooked!  The nursery part of our operation is just a natural outgrowth of my love of plants and landscaping! 

It is such a gift to find something that you are truly passionate about.  It is a greater gift to share it with others!  This is what Harmony Nursery and Daylily Farm is all about!  Please come for a visit on your next gardening outing!!!
